Weirton, West Virginia
Ohio River (Marland Heights Area)
This stretch of the Ohio River is a go-to spot for hybrid striped bass, sauger, catfish, and white bass. Look for fish around bridge pilings, current seams, and submerged structure. Shoreline access is available at various pull-offs and boat ramps around town.
Harmon Creek (Colliers Way Access)
Flowing through town and into the Ohio, Harmon Creek supports bass, sunfish, and seasonal trout in upper stretches. Light tackle works well in riffles and pools, especially in spring and early summer. Great for wading or sneaky little casts between brush.

Kings Creek (Weirton Heights Area)
A lesser-known gem, Kings Creek offers solitude and decent fishing for panfish and small bass. The mouth of the creek near its confluence with the Ohio can produce catfish and white bass during periods of high flow.
Tomlinson Run Lake (North of Weirton)
Located in Tomlinson Run State Park, this tranquil lake offers stocked trout, bass, catfish, and panfish. Electric motors only, making it ideal for a quiet paddle or a shore cast with live bait. Try the north end coves and downed timber for bigger bass.
