Fayetteville, AR
Lake Fayetteville
Located right in town, this 194-acre lake is loaded with largemouth bass, crappie, catfish, and sunfish. No-wake boating and well-kept piers make it perfect for kayakers and bank anglers alike. Fish near the fishing dock or along the old roadbed with plastics or live bait.
Lake Sequoyah
East of town, this 389-acre reservoir offers excellent fishing for largemouth bass, catfish, and bluegill. Quiet and surrounded by wooded hills, it’s great for small boats and shoreline casting. Target submerged timber and shallow coves for best results.

White River (West Fork)
A scenic, cool-water stream running just south of Fayetteville, the West Fork of the White River holds smallmouth bass, rock bass, and sunfish. Wading or light kayaking is ideal here, especially near deeper pools and undercut banks. Best fished with small crankbaits or finesse plastics.
Lake Wedington
About 13 miles west of Fayetteville, this 102-acre lake is surrounded by national forest and stocked with bass, catfish, and bluegill. A peaceful setting for both bank and small-boat anglers, especially in the early morning. Fly fishing is also popular along the wooded shoreline.
