Little River (above Lake Keowee)

A beautiful tributary flowing into Lake Keowee, the Little River is excellent for smallmouth bass, sunfish, and seasonal trout in its cooler upper stretches. Wading and kayaking anglers enjoy the boulder-strewn runs and quiet eddies under thick forest canopy. Small crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and soft plastics work well in deeper pools. Cane Creek Reservoir (Smaller City-Owned Lake)

This small but productive reservoir near Seneca is stocked with bass, bluegill, and catfish, making it a solid choice for beginner and family outings. The calm waters and simple layout make it ideal for shore fishing or small boats. Try worms or soft plastics along the edges and around submerged logs.
