Benton, AR
Sunset Lake (Tyndall Park)
Right in town, this well-kept city lake is stocked with catfish, bream, and trout in cooler months. Great for bank fishing with bait or spinners, and a favorite local spot for kids and casual anglers. Morning and evening bites are best near the fishing pier and bridge.
Saline River (Peeler Bend Access)
A beautiful, winding river perfect for kayak anglers and bank fishers alike. This stretch offers excellent fishing for spotted and largemouth bass, longear sunfish, and catfish. Cast near logjams, rock bars, and deeper pools with jigs, soft plastics, or live bait.

Hurricane Lake
Though largely private, Hurricane Lake has limited public access points and offers top-tier bass fishing along with crappie and catfish. Early mornings and overcast days are best—target brush piles, docks, and submerged points.
Lyle Park Pond
A small, quiet public pond tucked in a residential area, perfect for kids or quick after-work outings. Stocked with sunfish and the occasional catfish or trout. Simple rigs with worms or dough bait do the trick near the dock and bankside cover.
