Eagle Mountain, UT
Pony Express Memorial Park Pond
This small but popular urban pond is regularly stocked with rainbow trout and occasionally catfish or bluegill. It’s a great place for beginners, families, or an after-school cast. Try PowerBait, worms, or small spinners along the pier or inlets.
Nolan Park Pond
Another Eagle Mountain neighborhood favorite, this small pond sees seasonal trout stockings and holds panfish during warmer months. Easy bank access and minimal pressure make it a fun and convenient spot for local anglers. Early morning and evenings fish best.

Utah Lake (Saratoga Springs Marina – 20 min drive)
Just down the hill to the east, Utah Lake offers expansive fishing for channel catfish, white bass, walleye, and carp. The marina provides great shore and boat access—especially productive in spring and early summer. Night fishing for catfish is a local favorite.
Lehi Jordan River Parkway (North of Redwood Road)
About 25 minutes northeast, this stretch of the Jordan River offers quiet access to catfish, carp, and the occasional bass. Cast near deeper bends, bridge pilings, or undercut banks with bait or jigs. It’s a great “off the radar” spot for local exploration.
