Pine Bluff, AR
Lake Saracen (Martin Luther King Jr. Park)
Located in the heart of town, this 500-acre lake offers easy-access fishing for catfish, bream, and crappie. The pier and shoreline are perfect for bank fishing with worms or minnows, and spring crappie runs can be excellent near cover.
Arkansas River (Regional Park Boat Ramp)
One of the most productive stretches of the Arkansas River, this area is known for trophy blue catfish, flatheads, drum, and largemouth bass. Fish near jetties, eddies, or deep channels with cut bait or jigs. Boat access is excellent, but shore fishing can produce too.

Lake Langhofer
This oxbow lake connected to the Arkansas River is a quiet gem for crappie, catfish, and white bass. Accessible by boat from the river or through Pine Bluff Harbor, it’s full of submerged timber and drop-offs that hold fish year-round.
Wright Patman Park Pond
A smaller public pond ideal for youth fishing and casual trips. It’s often stocked with catfish and sunfish and offers benches and walking paths nearby. Bring basic gear and enjoy a quiet, relaxed setting perfect for beginners.
